This article is about DataOS 2, which lives under the 'Data' tab. If you still use classic DataOS, your screens are different. Visit the DataOS Help Center for more information.
DataOS makes it easy to prepare your raw, messy data into actionable growth insights. Click on 'Data' in the top navigation to get started.
Creating a Data Source
A data source is one connection to one platform, or one set of files you upload. You can create as many data sources as you need to supply data.
How to create a data source
Where your sources sit
Once a data source is created, it lives on the DataOS dashboard, where it is grouped by status depending on what you need to do.
Status | What it means |
Awaiting Data | Waiting for data to arrive. Connected data sources update automatically, while manual data sources must be supplied. |
Needs Attention | Something blocks this source. Open it and fix it. |
Processing | Our workforce of mapping and labeling agents is working on this source. How rules map your data. |
Ready | Data landed and is mapped. You can review it and adjust mappings if necessary. |
